ULTRIX-11 System Disk Load Program

This program loads the ULTRIX-11 ROOT and USR file systems
from the distribution media to the system disk.

Enter your answer to each question in lowercase, then
press the

key.

To correct typing mistakes press the

key to erase
a single character or

to erase the entire line.

You will be asked a series of questions. If you need help
with the answer to any question, type the word `help’ or
a `?’ then press the

key.

ULTRIX-11 Initial Setup Program

The ULTRIX-11 system is now up and running in SINGLE-USER mode.
This program performs the following initialization steps:

  o Determines the system disk and processor types.

  o Selects one of the preconfigured ULTRIX-11 kernels.

  o Installs alternate versions of several commands.

  o Initializes the error log file.

  o Creates the special files for the system disk.

  o Removes all unnecessary files.
