Article - Discuss tme
Tme, short for The Machine Emular, emulates Sun2 and Sun3 workstations. Both emulated architectures support NetBSD 1.6.2 and perhaps more recent releases; the Sun3 emulation is reported to run SunOS 4.1.1, although without network support.
Specifically, tme emulates a Sun 2/120 (SunOS 2.x, 3.x, and up to 4.03) and a Sun 3/150 (SunOS 3.5 to 4.1.1_U1).

For prebuilt Sun2/NetBSD-1.6.2 and Sun3/SunOS-4.1.1 kits, see below. Please note:
* Neither kit has any patches installed.
* Networking is untested and unconfigured for the Sun3 kit.
* My understanding is that there is no problem with distributing SunOS 4.x for Sun3. I’ll remove this kit upon request from Sun.
* The kits contain Sun PROM images. I’ll remove them upon request from Sun.
The kits were built in NetBSD 1.6.2.
